ABOUT MODUS PEOPLE

Care Built Around You

No one-size-fits-all packages. Just personalised support delivered with dignity, compassion and respect.

Inviting someone into your home is a privilege, and we never take that responsibility for granted.

Every person we support has their own story, preferences, routines and aspirations. That is why our care is designed around the individual rather than asking the individual to fit around the service.

We aim to provide familiar faces wherever possible, helping to build genuine relationships between the people we support and the carers who visit them.

Our goal is simple: to provide the right level of support while encouraging independence, confidence and choice.

CHILDREN

PBS & TRAUMA-INFORMED SUPPORT

Understanding Behaviour, Building Trust

Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and trauma-informed practice are an important part of our approach to supporting children and young people.

We recognise that behaviours of concern can often be a form of communication and may be influenced by a person’s environment, previous experiences, unmet needs or trauma.

Our team focuses on understanding the person behind the behaviour, identifying possible triggers and recognising early warning signs before situations escalate.

Support is always based around the individual, with an emphasis on trust, consistency, emotional wellbeing and helping each young person feel safe, heard and understood.

Learning and Continuous Improvement

Where an incident occurs, it is appropriately recorded and reviewed so that our team can understand what happened, identify any learning and adapt future support where necessary.

Our aim is not simply to respond to behaviour, but to understand its underlying causes and create an environment that reduces distress, promotes safety and helps the young person achieve positive outcomes.
